Applying nail polish and doing my own pedicure has always been part of my personal grooming routine since I'm 16, which lead me to venture into nail business several years ago. I had to say it was a five full enjoyable years of providing beauty services to my clients and even keeping in touch with some of them. :) Friends who know my style, I'm always been going simple on my nails with more earthy colours such as nude or classic french. I always worried that colours on my nails will not go with my outfit or rather appeared to be to fanciful and childish on me. Another concern is about having the nail polish chipping off in less than 2 days due to my roughness. LOL.
But recently, with different inspiration pictures from Instagram and Pinterest, I have been obsessed with nail arts and pretty much into trying out different designs! I came to realise that life is too short to have boring nails and why care so much about the matching with my daily outfit anyways. Of course, you might not have a choice if you are working in a more corporate environment as it will not reflect good on you. Not to worry, you can always have yours painted while you have a longer break from work. What's more, with the advance technology of Gelish these days, these pretty nail arts can last me more than a month! How nice! Hence, after my first cutesy manicure, I'm kind of addicted to Nail Arts! Oh no!
Happy nails, Happy me! :P
Bello! I'm still in the craze of Minions!
Cheers me up by looking at cute & evil, Dave & Stuart!"
You can get creative with doing on own nail art or getting experts to do it for you. There are so many nail art designs to choose from. I have been busy to experiment on my own though. Currently, I holding on to a full time job in the automotive industry and doing my part time degree. Time is never enough for me! :( So I leave my nail care job to my manicurist and I'm glad to I found one that I trusted. :) Getting my manicure & pedicure done in a nail salon is part of my pampering programme once a month. Instantly lift up my mood and relieve my stress a little! My next nail art designs I wanted to try is Smurfs, followed by My Melody, perhaps Autumn and then Christmassy designs! Woohoo! Can't wait to see how they look on my nails and definitely will share them with you once I get it done yah!
